Twinkle Khanna, Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty attend Ekta Kapoor's pre-Diwali bash

Diwali fever has gripped B-Town with celebs busy gracing pre-Diwali bash hosted by the who's and who's of showbiz. Amongst others, it was Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna and Shilpa Shetty who attended the pre-Diwali bash hosted by TV Queen Ekta Kapoor. 

For the bash, Akshay looked dapper in a black kurta teamed with denim while Twinkle looked gorgeous in a nude colored traditional dress. She tied up her hair in a bun and long statement earrings completed her look. 

On the other hand, it was Shilpa who wore a bandhani print saree. With minimal makeup on, Shilpa looked radiant.

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar is all set to be seen in R Balki's directorial PadMan which is also Twinkle Khanna's debut production under her home banner Mrs Funnybones Productions. the movie is a biopic on Arunachalam Muruganantham, a small town entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu who invented low-cost sanitary napkins to generate awareness in rural areas. It is all set to release next year on April 13, 2018. Along with Akshay, the movie also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles. The movie will also see Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo.

Shilpa recently appeared on Farah Khan's Lip Singh Battle where she imitated Amitabh Bachchan. About that, she said, "Playing ‘the legend' Amitabh Bachchan, the man I love, adore and eulogize… Don't know how I gathered the gumption to do this. Huge pressure. Farah Khan the things you make me do. ‘Lip Sing Battle'."

She added: "Totally into it! Only love Amitabh Bachchan sir. My ode to you! The most difficult task of my life. Respect."
