Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar are out-and-out promoting their upcoming film, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. They have been visiting several media platforms and also did a few city tours. Today, on a Sunday morning, the duo visited Akshay's martial arts studio along with the young politician Aaditya Thackeray.

Akshay entered the venue in style by riding a beast bike and tagged Aaditya along with him. He looked super cool in a white vest, trousers and a leather biker jacket. Whereas Bhumi was seen in a white top and monochrome pants.

They were all smiles for the shutterbugs and also interacted with the media present there.

They celebrated Friendship Day with the female martial artists and Akshay tweeted a picture posing with them. He said, "Happy #FriendshipDay to all my amazing female martial artists!! All you ladies make me prouder than you can imagine #WSDC"

Talking about Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, the film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and is slated to release this week on August 11, 2017.

While talking about the movie during a media interaction, Akshay questioned the archetype mentality people have with the use of the word 'toilet.'  "Talks on toilet are still taboo in India. I remember when I had to say a dialogue in the film which is, 'Ab biwi ghar aaye na aye, sundaas to laakar hi chodunga is gaon mein', people were rethinking if I should say it or not. But as an individual, I think it is necessary... I mean who does not go to the toilet?" Akshay said.

He further added, "Our youth is very strong minded. They understand the necessity of using the toilet. Some people are starting to talk about it, which is great... It means awareness has been created. See, it is also about the mindset. In places where I have gone, I heard people saying, 'We don't do it (defecate) in the same house where we cook food'.But how can they openly defecate on the field, from where the food is coming? The government is doing its part (by sanctioning public toilets)... People should also take a step."
