This throwback picture of Shah Rukh Khan and late actor Rita Bhaduri will leave you teary-eyed
Rita Bhaduri passed away this morning at the age of 62. The actor was last seen in Star Bharat's Nikki Mukhiya.
The industry woke up to the sad news of the demise of veteran actress Rita Bhaduri, 62, this morning. The actor passed away after suffering from a kidney issue, according to reports. She was reportedly admitted to the hospital some 10 days back.
Bhaduri was last seen in the role of a grandmother in Star Bharat's Nikki Mukhiya. Actor Shishir Sharma confirmed her demise on social media and wrote, "We deeply regret to inform you that Reeta Bhaduri has departed for her journey beyond. The funeral rites will be held on 17th July, Tuesday 12 noon at the Cremation Ground, Parsi Wada Road, Parshiwada, Chakala, Andheri East. Extremely sad.. lost a wonderful human being .. a mother to many of us.. will miss u Ma..."
Rita shared screen space in a number of films alongside superstars. She played an adorable role in the movie Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa which continues to be one of Shah Rukh Khan's best performances. Rita Bhaduri has done many role on TV but, in her interviews, always mentioned that she still had a lot of learn as an actor. In an old interview with Times Of India, she had said, “I still feel like a student because I am still learning as an actor and when people ask about my favourite role, I only say that I live in the moment and the role that I play today is my best character.”
Apart from films, she acted in many TV shows like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Choti Bahu, Kumkum, Khichdi to name a few.
