What's cooking: Aamir Khan enjoys a ride with wife Kiran Rao and Fatima Sana Shaikh

Aamir Khan is riding high after the success of his super-hit film Dangal. He had taken Dangal co-stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra under his wings after the success of the film. Rumors about Aamir Khan’s growing closeness to Fatima Sana Shaikh gained momentum after Fatima was signed on to play a lead role in Aamir Khan’s next, Thugs of Hindostan. It was also reported that Aamir has been recommending her to other film-makers.

Kiran Rao was said to be upset about their link-up and when asked about casting Fatima in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s film, she had said, “We don't deal with it casting. It's a Yash Raj Films movie so Aditya Chopra, Vijay Krishna Acharya and Aamir have decided on it. As it is a big film for them. They would have given it (casting Fatima) a good thought. There has to be merit in it,"

When asked about her relationship with Aamir, Fatima had said, “He's everything rolled into one, a friend, a guru and a guide. I can talk to him about anything. I can also discuss with him things like, I have had crush on someone, so please tell me what to do. Sanya and I go to him for all our love-related problems, and he solves them for us.”

Today, shutterbugs captured Aamir Khan with Fatima Sana Shaikh and Kiran Rao. Aamir’s son Junaid was seen behind the wheels and daughter Ira was spotted exiting the venue.

It seemed as if they had come to attend Junaid’s debut play, an adaptation of a Bertolt Brecht play. Theatre director Quasar Thakore Padamsee who directed Junaid said, “He is a very giving actor, so his co-actors gain a lot from him. He cares a lot about the whole production and not just his own part, and is constantly contributing and working on all aspects.”
