Those who watched Pink would agree that it was a hard-hitting film and all the lead actors have pulled it off in a brilliant manner. The movie's message was loud and clear and today, it has completed 2 years of its release. Shoojit Sircar's Pink made it big at the box office proving the fact that content is the king. The film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles sheds heavy light on the message - if a woman says NO, then it's NO and not an indirect yes.

In many of her interviews, she has mentioned that it's because of Pink, she has got her fame. Earlier, no one knew her and post Pink, people started noticing her.

Taapsee Pannu will be teaming up with Amitabh Bachchan for Sujoy Ghosh’s next. In an interview with PTI, she had said she is excited for the film and wishes that it recreates the magic of Pink. She had added that when people call Big B and her a hit pair, she can't contain her happiness. 

Taapsee, following the footsteps of Amitabh Bachchan, gave a stellar performance in Mulk which was also a courtroom drama. Taapsee essays the role of Aarti Mohammed in the film and completely nails the character as she voices out her opinions on the discrimination happening based on the religions. 

The actor's recent outing Manmarziyaan has been appreciated by both the critics and the viewers. In this film, she plays the role of free-spirited Rumi. Well, all thanks to Pink, that Taapsee made this big in the industry.
