Sui Dhaaga – Made In India: Anushka Sharma shoots for the film in Bhopal, see PICS

Anushka Sharma is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film, Sui Dhaaga – Made In India in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She has been paired opposite Varun Dhawan for the first time and their pairing has already created a buzz. 

For the first time, both Anushka and Varun will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar for the film. While Varun plays a tailor named Mauji, Anushka will be seen essaying an embroider Mamta. 

Today, we came across a few pictures of Anushka Sharma from the film’s shoot. She is seen wearing a multi-colored saree and looks beautiful in her desi avatar.

The movie is being helmed by Sharat Katariya and is a heart-warming story that is rooted in the Indian milieu and celebrates the spirit of self-reliance. It calls on the passion of shaping one’s own destiny through the beautifully touching love story between the two central characters played by Varun and Anushka.

Speaking about the film Anushka had said, “I always get excited with unique ideas that have human interest stories. SUI DHAAGA is a story of self-reliance that I believe will connect to the grassroots level with every Indian. And I am really looking forward to working with Varun Dhawan and the team of Sharat Katariya and Maneesh Sharma.”

Talking about the film, producer Maneesh Sharma had earlier said, "Love often blossoms amidst shared hopes and common aspirations. In Sui Dhaaga, the lead characters empower themselves by fighting against all odds in unison and find incredible love and respect for each other while following a common vision of self-reliance. Like everything in the film, it’s a love story that is truly Made In India. It is only apt that the film is starting on a day that celebrates true love."

Sui Dhaaga - Made in India is slated to release on September 28, 2018.
