Style File: Karan Johar looks debonair and handsome as he shoots for TED Talks with Shah Rukh Khan
Karan Johar to be the first guest on Shah Rukh Khan's new TV show
After delivering an inspiring speech at TED Talk in Vancouver earlier this year, super-star Shah Rukh Khan is all set to host a series of episodes on TV in India. Shah Rukh Khan shot the first episode of his new TV show Ted Talks India: Nayi Soch today. Shah Rukh Khan will be curating the show which will have talks by famous people in all genres. Director Karan Johar was Shah Rukh’s first guest as they shot the first episode together. The TV show will be on-air from September.
About the show, Shah Rukh was earlier quoted saying, “People will share stories about changes in society, in life — whether it’s about the climate, dangerous diseases or to help empower women — and all of this will be integrated. There are some beautiful stories — both Indian and international — which the team is planning to get on one platform and do a nice mix of Hindi and English speakers. I feel it will be a niche show.”
Karan Johar looked dapper as he wore a black suit to the talk. He posted his look on his social media account and wrote, “TED TALK ✅ thank you @iamsrk for always being so amazing! @starplus styled by @nikitajaisinghani@gucci and shoes by @prada”. Karan has upped his style game after losing oodles of kilos. He has been sporting funky jackets and stylish shoes at his recent appearances.
It was earlier reported that Javed Akhtar might be the first guest on the show. However, Karan has been close to Shah Rukh’s family since decades now and it was hence fitting for Karan to be the first guest on Shah Rukh’s TV show.
Well, we are definitely digging Karan’s look, are you?
