Stree: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor launch their film's trailer in the city

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor launched the trailer of their upcoming horror-comedy Stree. The trailer launch was held in Mumbai.

Both the actors were snapped at the trailer launch in the city and they even posed for the shutterbugs.

Shraddha Kapoor looked gorgeous in a red floral printed bralette top and a matching skirt. Rajkummar Rao looked handsome in a dark blue suit and pant.

The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan. It is slated to release on August 31, 2018.

For the film, Rao has learnt how to use to the sewing machine. About the same, he told in a statement to Mumbai Mirror, "Once you sit on that chair, the coordination and reflexes are something else. You can cheat with a body double but I wanted to do everything and bought myself a sewing machine and hired a tailor in Mumbai to teach me how to sew. I also had a tailor guiding me on the sets in Chanderi."
 
For Stree, Rajkummar trained himself to speak in the Chanderi dialect. "I took a couple of weeks off from other projects to prep for 'Stree'. We finished the shoot in one go. The horror-comedy genre while unexplored in our country has a huge audience," said the Newton actor.
 
Rajkummar Rao has worked with Shraddha Kapoor for the first time and couldn't stop praising her. He said, "She’s phenomenal, a hard-working actor who will surprise everyone! She’s a very sweet girl and now a dear friend."
