Sridevi's throwback photo proves Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor will always be their mommy's little girls
Veteran actor Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018, and is survived by Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. A throwback picture of the mother-daughters was shared on Instagram.
Sridevi's demise has left the entire nation shell-shocked. We had to bid adieu to the first lady of Bollywood on February 24, 2018, at 11 pm, in Dubai. Sridevi collapsed in her bathroom and suffered a major cardiac arrest.
While the family waits for the documentation process to get over so that they can transfer her mortal remains to Mumbai, her daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are at Anil Kapoor's house.
Many Bollywood celebrities like Rekha, Rani Mukerji, Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra visited Janhvi and Khushi at Anil's home to offer their condolences.
Janhvi and Khushi were extremely close to their mother and the loss will always be irreplaceable for them. What's heartbreaking to know is that Sridevi's demise took place a few months away from Janhvi's highly anticipated Bollywood debut in Dhadak, for which Sridevi was anxiously waiting.
Dabboo Ratnani's wife Manisha Ratnani took to Instagram to share a vintage shot of Sridevi with her darling daughters from a few years back. In the photo, Sridevi is seen adorably cuddling up to her girls who are staring at the camera lens.
While offering her condolences and reminiscing a conversation she had with Sridevi, Manisha's caption reads, "@sridevi.kapoor Last month we had a long emotional chat about how kids grow up so fast and u asked me if @dabbooratnani could do a shoot with you & kids again after @janhvikapoor ‘s movie releases @khushi05k I wish I could turn back the time & fulfill your wish... I wish this devastating news is just a bad horrid dream ... Just can’t believe you are gone! May your soul rest in peace! Love & Strength to your family & everyone who adored you. - @manishadratnani #sridevi #rip"
