Sridevi's Funeral: Katrina Kaif says a final goodbye to the legendary actor
Today, Sridevi's last rites took place at at Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium and Hindu Cemetery, next to Pawan Hans. Katrina Kaif was also present to bid a final farewell to the legendary actor.

Sridevi's untimely demise has left the entire nation in the state of shock. Devastated family members are still in disbelief about the news of her passing away. The Bollywood legend passed away on February 24, 2018, in Dubai in her hotel bathtub.
While the earlier reports suggested that she died after suffering a heart attack, forensic reports confirmed that it was a result of accidental drowning. The report suggested that the actor under the influence of alcohol lost her balance and drowned in her bathtub.
After a battle of more than 70 hours, Sridevi's mortal remains reached Mumbai yesterday. Today, the last rites took place at at Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium and Hindu Cemetery, next to Pawan Hans. Katrina Kaif was also present to bid a final farewell to the legendary actor.
The family released an official statement that reads as:
"Khushi, Janhvi, Boney Kapoor and the entire Kapoor and Ayyappan families are deeply bereaved and shocked with the untimely loss of Sridevi Kapoor. Late Sridevi Kapoor passed away in Dubai, UAE, on Saturday February 24th. We thank the film fraternity, media, fans of late Sridevi Kapoor and all the well-wishers for their prayers, support and sensitivity during our moment of immense grief. We request you to kindly join us in paying our last respect to a remarkable actor, beloved wife and loving mother."
