Sridevi's 55th birth anniversary: Janhvi-Khushi with Boney head to Delhi to attend a special tribute event

Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018, in Dubai. However, her family members, fans and the film fraternity will always remember her for her mesmerizing and stellar performances in films and her contribution to the Indian cinema. Today, it's the 55th birth anniversary of the legendary actress. Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor was clicked with daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor at the Mumbai airport today. The trio was heading to Delhi as the Films Division will be paying a tribute to the actress by screening some of his amazing films. The films include Mom, Lamhe, Mr India, English Vinglish, Sadma and Chandni. The screening of these films will be held on August 13 and August 14, 2018, in Delhi. 

At the airport, Janhvi Kapoor looked pretty in a peach colour long kurti and white palazzo. Khushi Kapoor kept it casual in a white t-shirt and black pants. Remembering her mom on her birth anniversary today, Janhvi Kapoor shared a childhood picture with her Sridevi and her dad Boney Kapoor on her Instagram page today. Sridevi's untimely death has left a void in their lives, however, the family has been by each other's side throughout the tough time. In order to remember and honour Sridevi on her birth anniversary, an 18ft Mural painting is also built in Mumbai's Bandra area.

Sridevi made her last appearance on screen in her 2017 film MOM for which she was also honoured a National Award in the Best Actress category, posthumously. She will be seen in Aanand L Rai's Zero as she has a special appearance in the film. Zero is slated to release on December 21, 2018.
