Sridevi Condolence Meeting: Jaya Bachchan-Shweta Bachchan and Jacqueline Fernandez at Celebration Sports Club

Sridevi breathed her last on February 24, 2018, in Dubai. A condolence meeting for the veteran actor was held today and Jaya Bachchan with Shweta Bachchan and Jacqueline Fernandez were snapped as they paid homage to Sridevi.

Sridevi's demise has left the entire nation and Bollywood in shock. The first lady superstar of Bollywood passed away on February 24, 2018, in Dubai. She had a fainting spell in her hotel bathroom and died due to accidental drowning. 

As the veteran actor's mortal remains finally arrived from Dubai to Mumbai last night, her funeral will be taking place today. 

A condolence meeting was held at Celebration Sports Club for Sridevi and many Bollywood celebrities joined her family to pay their respects. 

Amongst those snapped were Jaya Bachchan with daughter Shweta Bachchan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had arrived earlier and was seen exiting the venue with Jaya and Shweta.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline took to Instagram to pay tribute to Sridevi as she played the piano as an homage to the late actor. 

Her caption read as, "Today has been a daze for me.. so many things to digest.. she went too soon.. I was always an admiring fan to her, she was always so gracious and kind to me.. her passing has taught me something... life is so short and so fragile, every moment counts, this is not a rehearsal.. there will never be anyone like her.. RIP #sridevi." 

Meanwhile, Sridevi's family released a statement today that read, "Khushi, Janhvi, Boney Kapoor and the entire Kapoor and Ayyappan families are deeply bereaved and shocked with the untimely loss of Sridevi Kapoor. Late Sridevi Kapoor passed away in Dubai, UAE, on Saturday, February 24th. We thank the film fraternity, media, fans of late Sridevi Kapoor and all the well-wishers for their prayers, support and sensitivity during our moment of immense grief. We request you to kindly join us in paying our last respect to a remarkable actor, beloved wife and loving mother."
