Sridevi attends the English Vinglish Premiere in Tokyo
Sridevi, was in Tokyo for the premiere of the English Vinglish's dubbed Japanese version.
"Off to Tokyo, Japan for super premiere of English Vinglish dubbed in Japanese," Sridevi posted on her Twitter page earlier.
The premiere was held on Thursday, while the film is slated to release across 33 screens in Japan on June 28.
Akie Abe, wife of Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and popular Japanese singer Agnes Chan were present for the premiere of the film, which had a worldwide release in October 2012.
The buzz for the film in Japan began last year itself when Shinde was invited to attend the prestigious Aichi International Women's Film Festival in August 2013 for the screening of the film.
Dressed in Sabyasachi creations, Sridevi looked resplendent at the premiere.
