Sridevi and Rekha make a beautiful appearance at the screening of Padmaavat

A special screening of Padmaavat was hosted in the city today which saw the big-wigs of Bollywood in attendance. Varun Dhawan,Sonakshi Sinha, Guri Khan, Kajol,  Rishi Kapoor, David Dhawan, Shilpa Shetty, Rekha, Yami Gautam, Kriti Sanon and others were clicked at the theatre. The film’s lead cast Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were also spotted at the screening. 

Apart from them, Sridevi and Rekha also made heads turn with their beautiful appearances. Sridevi donned a pink outfit. Minimal makeup and pink lipstick completed her look. 

On the other hand, Rekha looked stunning as ever in a yellow outfit. She rounded her look with sunglasses, red lipstick and gold earrings. The gorgeous actress was seen greeting the paparazzi.

Talking about Deepika Padukone, Sridevi had earlier said, ''In my opinion, Deepika is one of the most promising actresses. I really like her performances and choice of roles. I would like to congratulate her and wish her all the very best.''

Talking about style statement, Sridevi had earlier said, ''As far as trends are concerned, I am aware of what is happening around me. But, I am very selective. I will not blindly wear whatever is in fashion. I will choose what suits my personality and, most importantly, what makes me feel comfortable — like trackpants. I love them and am seen in them almost all the time. But, of course, my look depends on the occasion too.''

In an earlier interview, Sridevi was all praises for Rekha, she had said, ‘’According to me, Rekha and Hema Malini are the true South Indian stunners. They have style and poise that is unmatched. They set the precedent for us and I don't think I even come close to these divas.’’

On the work front, Sridevi was last seen in the movie MOM produced by hubby Boney Kapoor. The movie, which also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui, fared decently at the box office. There are also reports that Sridevi is all set to collaborate with the director of English Vinglish, Gauri Shinde for the sequel of the film.
