Sonam Kapoor clicked at the airport; Twinkle Khanna snapped post salon session

Sonam Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna were today clicked in the city by the shutterbugs.

Sonam was clicked at the airport. She looked super-stylish in a military coloured blazer and trousers along with overcoat. She completed her look with black sunglasses and handbag.

On the other hand, Twinkle was clicked post salon session. She looked gorgeous in a black outfit which she teamed with sunglasses and blue handbag. She was seen walking towards her car.

On the work front, Sonam will be seen in Veere Di Wedding that releases in June this year. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Sumeet Vyas. On Veere Di Wedding being called a chick flick, Sonam had said, "Don’t call it that! It’s so bad. There’s no such thing as chick flicks. Do you call a hero’s film a stud film? No, right? It’s so tacky."

Sonam Kapoor will also be seen in Twinkle Khanna’s PadMan. The movie also stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte in lead roles. 

PadMan is a film inspired by the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a small town entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu who invented low-cost sanitary napkins to generate awareness in rural area.

During a media interaction, Sonam was asked about her reaction when she first got periods. To this, she replied, ‘’I was 15 when I got my periods and all my friends had got that way before me. I was very upset that I had not got it. So when I actually got it I was very relieved because I kept telling my parents there is something wrong with me as I did not get my periods. So, I was very very happy.’’

Talking about the serious agenda of the movie, Twinkle had earlier said, "We are making sure that school girls and supervisors watch this film." If you have seen the trailer, it starts with a strong note wherein Akshay is seen trying to wear a sanitary pad. Twinkle, on this, said, "R.Balki convinced me that Akshay should play this part."
