Sonam Kapoor catches a screening of her film PadMan with sister Rhea Kapoor and friends

Sonam Kapoor’s upcoming film, PadMan has created the right buzz. The film that also stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte is all set to release on 9^th February.

Sonam is reportedly playing the role of a table player in the film. The film is based on the inventor of low-cost sanitary napkins, Arunachalam Muruganantham. Radhika Apte plays the role of Akshay Kumar’s wife in the film. Akshay Kumar had also hosted a special screening of the film for his family two days ago.

Sonam Kapoor and sister Rhea Kapoor watched the film at a special screening that was organized in the city today. Sonam Kapoor kept it simple in a beige coat and pants and was clicked chatting with the film’s director R. Balki. Sister Rhea Kapoor donned an oversized shirt and black denim and hung out with rumored boyfriend Karan Boolani after the screening. Rhea Kapoor left with her mother Sunita Kapoor after the screening.

About the film, Sonam had said, “I have been a fan of R. Balki since the beginning and I was itching to work with him not realizing, when I do work with him, I will just fall in love with the kind of human being he is and the kind of work he wants to do. He is truly an artist and thinks differently. He wants to say something which each of his films. We have a great rapport. I keep teasing him that he will miss me so much after the shoot is wrapped up but honestly, it is me who will miss him."
