Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja make for a fairytale couple at their Mehendi ceremony
Sonam Kapoor's Mehendi ceremony is today and we got our hands on the first picture of Sonam posing with her to-be husband, Anand Ahuja. The pair make for a resplendent couple, indeed.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are just a day away from entering marital bliss as the couple will be tying the knot on May 8, 2018.
While the wedding ceremony will take place during brunch time at Sonam's aunt's bungalow, a grand reception will take place at the Leela on the same night.
As today is the Mehendi ceremony, the first look of Sonam and Anand together is out and they look their royal best.
Sonam was the epitome of besotted beauty in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation. Her gorgeous ivory and gold lehenga was paired with a high-neck heavily embroidered cap sleeves muted gold blouse and a matching dupatta. A braided low bun with a heavy maang-tika, a jadau neckpiece, jhumkas and bracelet finished off her look to perfection.
Anand complimented his ladylove's look and looked handsome in a Raghuvendra Rathore ivory white kurta which he layered with a Nehru collar sleeveless jacket. He added an emerald brooch to add a hint of colour to the attire.

Earlier, Sonam and Anand's wedding was a bunch of speculations which were put to rest by a statement which was shared by the Kapoor and Ahuja families thus confirming the marriage rumours.
The statement read, "From the Kapoor & Ahuja families, The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam & Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives. Thanks & Regards."
