Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are undoubtedly one of the cutest couples in Bollywood. The duo has remained tight-lipped about their relationship but has never refrained from indulging in cute PDAs on social media. 

Well, the good news is that Sonam and Anand are all set to tie the knot on May 8 this year, which means in a less than a week time. Confirming the marriage date, the Kapoor and Ahuja family released a joint statement last evening which read, "The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives."

In January this year, Sonam was the cover-girl of Elle as part of their Happiness project campaign. For the magazine, Sonam revealed ten things that makes her happy in which had admitted, “Being around Anand makes me very happy."

About her relationship with Anand Ahuja, Sonam had earlier said, “This is just keeping it a little sacred. Just keeping it in my control, whatever is out there is in my control, it’s not something that is not. I just feel that it’s not okay to talk about it.”

Sonam and Anand will get married at the Kapoor mansion in Mumbai and will be holding two receptions, one in Mumbai and another in Delhi. Soon after her wedding, Sonam will be attending the coveted Cannes Film Festival only to return to continue the promotions for her upcoming movie Veere Di Wedding.
