Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja solemnized their relationship after dating for over four years in an intimate ceremony at her aunt’s bungalow today. Sonam wowed with her ethnic charm in her Anuradha Vakil bridal lehenga. The bride and the groom could not stop gushing and made for a perfect couple at the wedding.
At the wedding reception, the who’s who of Bollywood arrived in style. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kangana Ranaut made heads turn with their sartorial choices. Their immaculate styling wowed us.
Kangana arrived with Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. She opted for a silk saree gifted to her by her sister. She accessorized her look with exquisite jewelry. Straight hair and a bright smile completed her look.
About Sonam, Kangana had told Times of India, “Sonam is one person, whose interviews I love to read, because sometimes she really lets go. But I think she's been a bit more closed now. She used to come up with very exciting interviews."
The Kapoor family and Sonam herself have been tight-lipped about the wedding. However, in a recent interview, Sonam had revealed, “I think the whole idea of a marriage is more appealing to me than a wedding.I think there is too much money spent; it’s all very crass, and I would rather give that money away. I’d rather have a wedding at home than anywhere else. I think it’s important to do all the rituals, but I don’t believe in spending all that money, I find it disgusting and very wasteful, and I’m not okay with that at all.”
