Sonali Bendre attends a concert in New York as she continues to battle cancer, 'Nothing like music to heal'

Sonali Bendre is undergoing treatment for cancer in New York City. The actor has been an inspiration to many as she continues to battle cancer with a positivity. Sonali has been sharing her journey of fighting the disease on her social media account. Sonali attended a concert in New York City today and shared photos on her Instagram account. She posed for a pic with Sarod maestro Amjad Ali Khan and his sons Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash. She also posted another candid photo from the event on her Instagram account.

She captioned the photo, “Nothing like music to heal and feed the soul Thank you @aaksarod, @amaanalibangash& @ayaanalibangash for a wonderful evening... Missed you @goldiebehl, you would have loved it! @refugeeorchestraproject #UNDay” Earlier this week, Sonali took to her social media account to thank her wig maker for giving her various new looks. Sonali’s husband Goldie Behl shared her health update with her fans recently and said that it is long battle, but Sonali is following all the treatments without complications.

Dogs are the best, really. This is the first dog I'm playing with after leaving my #LittleMissIcy back home in Mumbai.... lots of emotions, a bittersweet combination of love and nostalgia. Thank you @priyankachopra for letting me hang out with @diariesofdiana, she's absolutely adorable and is the cutest thing in the world! P.S. Sorry PC, loved spending the day with you girls, but @diariesofdiana was the highlight! Her snuggles are the best (even though she is literally less than a quarter the size of Icy! )

Sonali’s friends Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Oberoi visited her recently in New York. Twinkle Khanna, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar also visited Sonali. Anupam Kher shared in an interview that he keeps in touch with Sonali and tries to meet her over weekends.

Sonali also met Priyanka Chopra at her apartment and also enjoyed a day out with her and Sophie Turner. Sonali also shared photos with Priyanka Chopra’s pooch, Diana.

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor are also in New York for his medical treatment. Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl also met Rishi and Neetu Kapoor.
