Sushant Singh Rajput has been busy shooting for Abhishek Chaubey's Sonchiriya along with Bhumi Pednekar and Manoj Bajpayee. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and SSR will be seen playing the role of a dacoit. The first look poster is out, and well, looking at it, we can say it’s going to be a raw film. The poster shows the rugged rebels of Chambal and the background is rustic. The film also features Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana. Bhumi took to Instagram to share the first look poster and also revealed that the teaser will be out at 12 pm.

With such an ensemble cast, we can expect a thrilling film. Earlier while shooting for the film in Chambal, Sushant had told IANS, "Shooting for Abhishek Chaubey’s film is on full swing. I came here in Chambal early to do a bit of warm-up for the film. Visiting ravines, talking to locals, working on dialect and inflection and a bit of cut-off from everything before the shoot helps keep the right things in perspective."

Sushant, Manoj, Ranvir and Bhumi do look compelling in this poster. The teaser is also attached to the screening of Kedarnath. The film has been shot in MP and is set in the year 1975.

Talking about his film, Chaubey earlier told a news channel, “Bandits have been around for ages. They are criminals but it’s a huge tradition -- their society and life. There are so many layers to it. Why they were the way they were why they were bandits but they called themselves rebels so what was it that motivated them to live like that. It’s a part of our history and culture and I’m really shocked that we’re not telling more stories about them. In the West, it’s an established genre which is still being explored.”
