Sidharth Malhotra was clicked at the Mumbai airport today. He kept his look pretty casual. The actor was all smiles for the shutterbugs. Sidharth is all set to be seen in Kargil: Sher Shah, a biopic based on the late Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra. He will soon start shooting for the film in Kashmir.
Now as per reports in a leading tabloid, Sidharth has signed his next produced by none other than Ekta Kapoor. If the reports turn out to be true, this will be the second outing of Sidharth and Ekta after their 2014 hit Ek Villain.
Talking about the project, a source said to the tabloid, "It’s a small town love story with edgy characters. As soon as Ekta heard it she immediately reached out to Sidharth. She believes it’s a great role and a perfect film for them to come together. The film is expected to roll in a couple of months. The makers will begin the reccee soon and zero in on a leading lady."
Apart from this, Sidharth is in talks with Anees Bazmee for his next, according to a leading daily. According to a source of the daily, Anees has approached Sidharth to star in a solo-led movie which will be a romantic comedy. The actor-director duo recently met at Anees' office and to discuss the script and Sidharth liked the story.
Asha Bhosle was also snapped at the airport. She was seen wearing a saree. In an interview with a leading daily, Asha was asked about how music has changed over the years. She had said, "The earlier songs had a lot of meaning. Lyrics made sense. Tunes had more melody. They were composed from the heart. Now the brain composes songs. Computers do the job which artists did. The songs are more technically perfect because they have been created by the mind, but they have no heart in it. The soul has gone. Older songs are classics and live on forever. Today’s songs come with an expiration date."
