Shubh Mangal Saavdhan Poster: Bhumi Pednekar flashes her electric smile and Ayushmann Khurrana looks puzzled
Here's the new poster of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.
The new poster of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is out. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead for the second time after Dum Laga Ke Haisha in the year 2015.
In the new poster, both are seen on the wedding thrones and Bhumi is seen holding a string of bulbs and Ayushmann is looking puzzled as he stares at the camera.
Bhumi captioned the poster saying, "मुदित it's time to stand up for love, ab toh smile kar do! #ShubhMangalSaavdhan's 2nd poster! @ayushmannk @aanandlrai @krishikalulla"
Whereas Ayushmann said, "100 watt bulb se bhi zyada electric hai सुगंधा ki smile. #ShubhMangalSaavdhan's 2nd poster! @psbhumi @aanandlrai @krishikalulla"
Directed by R S Prasanna and produced the Aanand L. Rai, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is slated to release on September 1, 2017.
In an interview, director RS Prasanna said, “I wouldn’t say it is a complete remake of KSS. It is an entirely new film with the same basic theme and soul. ‘Spiritual remake’ is the correct word for it. We will soon come out with the official announcement about the cast and the crew.”
He also feels that collaborating with filmmaker Aanand L Rai is an achievement. He added, “I figured that even if the film didn’t materialize, getting a chance to sit and discuss it with Aanand L Rai sir itself was a success. It was a great experience working with him.”
