Shamshera: Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor are finding some scoop on the phone in this candid click

Ranbir Kapoor has been shooting for two films simultaneously - Brahmastra and Shamshera. The talented actor kickstarted the shoot of Shamshera last year in Mumbai along with the female lead Vaani Kapoor and the main antagonist of the film, Sanjay Dutt. The film is being helmed by Karan Malhotra of Agneepath fame and Ranbir plays the titular role in it. The film is being produced by Yash Raj Films and it's one of the most anticipated films.

A while back, Vaani took to her Instagram page and shared a candid click with Ranbir and Karan. In the photo, the trio is seen checking out something on the phone while standing outside the YRF Studios in the city. Vaani posted the photo with a caption stating, "Fellow Scoopers  #RanbirKapoor @karanmalhotra21 #Shamshera". Ranbir is seen wearing a white T-Shirt, blue distressed jeans and a blue hoodie. While Vaani wore a white lucknawi salwar suit.

Last year, when RK was asked about Shamshera, he stated to Deccan Chronicle, "It’s definitely a very aggressive, intense and angry character. It is set in the 1800s and it’s about a dacoit tribe who is fighting for their rights and independence."

This is the first time Ranbir will be sharing screen space with Sanjay. Talking about the same, RK had said, "It is an exciting space and Sanjay is playing an antagonist. Also, it is a new collaboration for me with Karan Malhotra. I am really looking forward to starting this project."
