Shahid To Slim Down for Udta Punjab?

Much is being said and reported on Shahid Kapoor’s eclectic look for Udta Punjab. He will colour his hair and has grown his locks already as is evident from the IPL opening ceremony visuals.

We’ve heard that Shahid will go much beyond just altering his hair colour & length for this film. The actor will shed serious amounts of weight to get in character for a certain portion, for his role dabbles with drugs.

Udta Punjab takes a serious, edgy look at the pervasive substance usage and recreational drugs trade prevalent in Punjab.

While details on this are sparse, what we do know that Shasha is taking his role very seriously. Having set the bar high with “Haider’, he plans to push the envelope further with this film.

Here’s one film that we look forward to with great anticipation.
