Shah Rukh Khan won an award for his special contribution to Bollywood at the Zee Cine Awards that were held in the city tonight. Shah Rukh Khan gave a heartfelt acceptance speech.
Shah Rukh thanked everyone and said, “I try to keep myself healthy so I can serve you for as long as I can.” He also shared a funny incident about his association with the channel.
Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom has kept on soaring each year. His films make the fans believe in love and romance and he is genuinely the king of romance. Shah Rukh has also played powerful roles in his career and has attempted something new with Fan, Ra.One and Raees.
About his journey Shah Rukh had said in an interview, “I cannot be cynical about how people will respond. I have done trashy films, I have done good films and I have done some bad ones. There is a huge acceptance for what I have done.
As an actor, choosing the film that I want to do is the freedom that I should have. When you sit with a story, sometimes you just want to do it. Like I mentioned, sometimes I realise it's not my world, but I get molded in that space only to see if I can pull it off. Sometimes I fail; other times I succeed. The success doesn't make me want to do the same thing again. Or the failure doesn't want me to not do it ever again. Instead, it makes me want to do it all over again. Because that part has to be done. I can't get it wrong.
