Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and other celebs attend Aanand L. Rai’s birthday bash

The who’s who of B-Town arrived for the birthday bash of director-producer Aanand L. Rai today. His film’s Zero’s actors Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma were amongst the first to arrive. Shah Rukh Khan looked dapper in a black suit, whereas Anushka Sharma opted for a velvet pant-suit. Nude make-up and hoopla earring completed her look. Anushka arrived straight from the sets of Sui Dhaaga: Made In India.

Earlier today, she shared a heartfelt post after wrapping up Zero. She posted, “Zero is all heart. Zero is these two wonderful people and everything they’ve endeavoured to create. Zero is me going on this journey with them. What a pleasure it has been. Big hug @aanandlrai and @iamsrk for your belief and to @katrinakaif for being the amaze one that she is! #ZeroWrap”

Shah Rukh Khan responded to this by posting, “My lov u r a pleasure 2 work with. Wouldn’t go on a journey like this without u. Miss u.Can v call u back for a day!”

Zero has Shah Rukh Khan essaying the role of a vertically challenged man who falls for a diva played by Katrina Kaif. Anushka Sharma’s look has been kept under wraps.

Diana Penty, Ayushmann Khurrana, Huma Qureshi, Kriti Sanon and Swara Bhasker also arrived for the bash. Diana worked in Happy Bhaag Jayegi which was produced by Aanand L Rai. Swara Bhasker played the lead in Aanand L. Rai’s Nil Battey Sannata. Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar worked in Shubh Mangal Savdhaan which was produced by Aanand L Rai.
