Shabana Azmi Car Accident: Javed Akhtar, Farhan & Shibani, Zoya, Anil Kapoor and Tabu reach hospital in Mumbai
Shabana Azmi has been shifted to Ambani hospital in Mumbai later in the evening today. Snapped at the hospital were Javed Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar, Zoya Akhtar, Tabu, Anil Kapoor and others.
Earlier in the evening today, Shabana Azmi met with a major car accident while travelling to Khandala along with Javed Akhtar when the car rammed into a truck, thereby causing major injuries to Azmi and the driver. Akhtar, however, did escape unhurt. The veteran actress was admitted at MGM hospital, and later in the evening today, she was discharged and moved to the Ambani hospital in Mumbai.
While Akhtar was also snapped at the MGM hospital, here in Mumbai, also spotted at the airport were their kids Farhan Akhtar and Zoya along with Shibani Dandekar, Anil Kapoor, Tabu and a few others also rushed to the hospital. While celebrities have started to reach the hospital, many also took to social media to express their concern while praying for the veteran actress' well being.
Just last night, Javed Akhtar celebrated his 75th birthday and Shabana Azmi, along with many others from B-town were a part of the celebrations. Celebrities including Swara Bhasker, and many others have expressed their concerns on social media, and many fans too, have been praying for her well being.
