Selena Gomez took to Instagram to share a birthday post which broke one of Beyonce's record in less than 13 minutes. The singer and actress shared some fun pictures from her birthday party on a yacht in Newport Beach, California.
Selena Gomez celebrated her 26th birthday on July 22 with close friends on a yacht at Newport Beach, California. The singer and actress looked gorgeous in a flirty pink coloured Sadie printed layered dress with frills which she paired with white sneakers. Natural curls and a cross necklace completed her easy breezy look to perfection.
The Back To You singer took to Instagram to share some fun pictures of her yacht party and thanked everyone for their warm birthday wishes. In the photos, the birthday girl is surrounded by her friends and is seen cutting her birthday cake with confetti and party decorations surrounding her.
Selena's caption reads as, "Another year down.. Thank you for all the bday love. I couldn’t be more appreciative of you and my best friends for celebrating with me. I love you guys like crazy! God bless!"
With this Instagram post, Selena who is equipped with a staggering 139 million followers, broke Beyonce's record of getting 1 million likes in the least amount of time. Gomez crossed the 1 million likes mark in less than 13 minutes. The photo now has 7.6 million likes and counting.
Meanwhile, Selena's BFF Taylor Swift could not be with the birthday girl on her birthday as she is busy with the Reputation tour. However, Taylor did wish Selena with an Instagram Story which had a birthday cake for Gomez. The cake had "Gomez or Go Home," written on it.
Along with the photo, the Bad Blood singer wrote, "Will I let distance stop me from celebrating my best friend's birthday? I mean I could but why would I want 2?"
