Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput look picture perfect in this still
Sara Ali Khan's debut film Kedarnath will go on floors next week.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan are coming together in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath. They have already reached Dehradun and are expected to start shooting from September 3. Sara who is the daughter of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan will debut in Bollywood with this film. Incidentally, Sushant had also debuted in Bollywood with director Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che. Sara too will be making her debut in an Abhishek Kapoor film.
Ekta Kapoor who is co-producing the film had said, “The film is an emotional and riveting story set in India’s heartland, where raw romance unfolds amidst the beauty of Kedarnath.” Sara will be playing the role of a rich tourist in the film while Sushant will be playing the role of a pithhoo. Abhishek Kapoor had spoken about the film and said, “Kedarnath is a love story that unfolds during the course of a pilgrimage. It’s important for me to look within and soak in the vast beauty of our country, culture and stories. India is a treasure trove of spiritual experiences that I want to present to the audience. This is a story that the audiences would love to watch,” When asked about the decision to cast Sara as a leading lady in his film, Abhishek added, “Casting newcomers is a natural process. We will tell stories with those who fit our vision the best. Sara is a beautiful bundle of energy. The talent we bring in today will be the future of the industry.”
