Sanju: When Shah Rukh, Salman, Akshay, Ajay and Saif came together to seek justice for Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay Dutt's biopic titled Sanju, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani is finally OUT. The movie starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role chronicles the life of Bollywood's Khalnayak starting from his Rocky days.
Sanjay Dutt's biopic titled Sanju has finally hit the theatres. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay with Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Anushka Sharma, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Karishma Tanna and Dia Mirza in pivotal roles. The much-talked-about biopic has been helmed by PK director Rajkumar Hirani.
As good reviews continue to pour in since morning, a throwback picture of Sanjay Dutt's close industry friends Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan is doing the rounds wherein the four actors are seen holding placards seeking justice for Dutt who was accused under the Arms Act in connection to the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case.
The placard read, "Sanju, we are with you." The bond shared by the actors was impeccable and this picture is a proof of the same.
Sanju, the movie chronicles the controversial life of Bollywood's Khalnayak from his Rocky days to his struggle with drugs and finally his jail term. The actor shared a great camaraderie with all the actors when he was at the peak of his career.
Hirani had during the trailer launch revealed that they finally decided to name the movie Sanju because Nargis Dutt used to fondly call him 'Sanju.'
Sanjay shared screen space with Salman in movies like Chal Mere Bhai, Saajan among others, while he starred with Akshay in Blue and Desi Boys, with Saif in the movie Parineeta, LOC Kargil, with Ajay in the movie Son of Sardar, Rascals, LOC Kargil, among others.
