Salman Khan convicted in poaching case: Malaika Arora and Aayush Sharma arrive at his residence

Superstar Salman Khan was convicted in the two decade old black buck poaching case. Salman has been sentenced to five years imprisonment by the court. His lawyers have already filed the bail plea which will be heard in the morning.

Salman Khan has been accompanied by sisters Alvira and Arpita at Jodhpur. After the verdict was pronounced, Salman Khan’s medical check-up was done and he was lodged in barrack no 2 at the Jodhpur Central Jail.

In Mumbai, many well-wishers from the industry arrived at Salman Khan’s residence. Sonakshi Sinha came with parents Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha. Arbaaz Khan arrived with a friend.

Race 3 co-star Daisy Shah also came in to meet the family.

Arbaaz Khan’s ex-wife Malaika Arora and sister Amrita Arora also arrived at Salman Khan’s residence. Arpita Khan Sharma is with Salman Khan in Jodhpur, however husband Aayush Sharma came to meet rest of the family.

At the courthouse, Salman Khan seemed surprised with the verdict and was teary eyed. Salman Khan’s lawyer too admitted that the verdict has come as a surprise to them. “We respect the decision of the Hon'ble Court. While we are studying the judgement it just came as a surprise, as the entire investigation, and facts of this case were the same as those for which Salman has been acquitted by the Hon'ble High Court of Rajasthan in two cases and even by the Hon'ble CGM in the Arms Act matter for the alleged offense on the very same night as is the subject matter of the present case,” the lawyer’s statement read.
