Sadak 2: Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt meet at Mahesh Bhatt's office
Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt were thronged by fans as they were spotted outside Mahesh Bhatt's office post a meeting for Sadak 2.
Sanjay Dutt is reuniting with Mahesh Bhatt in Sadak 2 which is the sequel to the 1991 cult movie. It is rumoured that Alia Bhatt will be a part of the cast as well.
Alia and Sanjay were both snapped outside Mahesh's office today post a meeting for Sadak 2 and were immediately thronged by fans. As they exited, they waved and smiled at the paparazzi before taking off.

Talking about Sadak 2, Mahesh Bhatt had told a leading tabloid, "Sanjay who was 32 when we made the original, comes back as a 54-year-old Ravi into the 21st-century world that is collapsing in front of his eyes, where the distinction between the house and the ‘sadak’ is fast disappearing. The story has the emotional connect of the films I made back in the’90s which brought a lump to the throats of the viewer. I could see that in the reaction of those present at the narration. They were visibly moved."
Pooja Bhatt, who worked in Sadak said that Sadak 2 is going to be about Sanjay from start to end. She had said, "While my character is unique, it is going to be about Sanju from the first frame to the last. It’s my father’s ode to him."
According to a leading daily, joining Sanjay and Pooja will be rumoured lovebirds Sidharth Malhotra and Alia who will play a young couple in the movie.
A source revealed to a leading tabloid, "Earlier, there were speculations that Sidharth and Alia are doing Mohit Suri's next directorial project, Aashiqui 3, but the film has been put on hold. Instead, Vishesh Films has cast them for Sadak 2. While the film's director is yet to be finalised, they want to finish the casting process so that the film can go on floors soon."
