RK Studios Ganpati Visarjan: Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor bid a final farewell to Bappa

A few weeks back, news broke out that the first family of Bollywood, the Kapoors were going to sell Raj Kapoor's baby, the iconic RK Studios. The Chembur-located studio used to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with a lot of fervour for the past 70 years. However, 2018 will be the last time that this tradition will be followed. Today, as the Kapoor's were all set for Ganpati Visarjan and to bid farewell to Bappa, the paparazzi captured the occasion one last time. In attendance were Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor.

Rishi Kapoor was the first to arrive and prayed in front of the Lord Ganesha statue before leaving. Then, Ranbir, Randhir and Rajiv followed and did the puja as well. The Kapoor men were in a sombre mood given that this was the last time that they will be a part of such an occasion. Throngs of fans came aboard to bid farewell along with the Kapoors and Ranbir was seen interacting with them. The actor also had a tender moment when he looked at Lord Ganesha's statue adoringly while taking a trip down memory lane.

This is indeed an emotional moment for the Kapoors! As they bid adieu to Bappa, they will soon be saying goodbye to the RK Studios as well.

Meanwhile, during Ganesh Utsav, when Randhir welcomed Bappa to the studios, the actor got emotional and stated that the reason for the sale of RK Studios was that the damages caused by the fire (which broke out last year) could not be recovered. He also said that the location of the studio was inconvenient for films to be shot and that led to losses for the family.
