RIP Sridevi: Katrina Kaif arrives at Anil Kapoor’s residence to offer her condolences
Katrina Kaif was today spotted outside Anil Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai where she came to offer condolences to the bereaved family. Katrina in an Instagram post had expressed her sadness over Sridevi’s untimely demise.
Sridevi’s untimely demise has left the entire nation gripping under shock, The actor breathed her last in Dubai on February 24, 2018. While the initial reports said that she died of a cardiac arrest, autopsy report cited accidental drowning to be the reason behind her death.
As the family including Boney Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor have left for India with the mortal remains of Sridevi, Katrina Kaif visited Anil Kapoor’s residence to offer her condolences to the bereaved family. Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are putting up at Anil Kapoor’s house as the entire family is trying to come to terms with this extremely saddening news.
Katrina had taken to her Instagram handle to express her sadness over the news. ‘My favorite actress ... a legend ... and the kindest gentlest woman u could meet ... an unbelievable tragedy this is .....all my prayers and thoughts with the family,” she wrote.

Earlier, during the day, Dubai Media Office tweeted from their official handle and confirmed the news. "Dubai Public Prosecution has approved the release of the body of the Indian actress Sridevi to her family following the completion of a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances of her death,” the official handle tweeted.
"Dubai Public Prosecution stressed that all regular procedures followed in such cases have been completed. As per the forensic report, the death of the Indian actress occurred due to accidental drowning following the loss of consciousness. The case has now been closed,” another tweet read.
Many Bollywood celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and others visited Anil Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai to offer their condolences to the bereaved family.
Sridevi is survived by daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor and husband Boney Kapoor.
