RIP Atal Bihari Vajpayee: Hrithik Roshan and Preity G Zinta remember the time when they met the former PM

On August 16, 2018, Former Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee breathed his last at 05:05 PM in Delhi. He was 93 and was admitted in AIIMS on July 11, 2018. AIIMS released a statement post his demise which read as "It is with profound grief that we inform about the sad demise of Former Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, at 05:05 PM." Since then, people from all walks of life are expressing their grief and paying condolences on the social media.

One of the celebrities who condoled the demise of Atal Ji was Hrithik Roshan, who remembered the time when he met former PM about 15 years back. He tweeted a series of photos which was clicked when Hrithik and his dad Rakesh Roshan organised a special screening of their film Koi Mil Gaya for Vajpayee Ji. Hrithik said, "Met Atalji a few times in my life. Each time was special. I remember him as an extremely kind hearted man. May his soul rest in peace. #RIPAtalBihariVaajpayee"

Even Preity Zinta, who had met Atal Ji during the same time shared the similar photo and condoled by tweeting, "He was a Charismatic leader. A man of few words but of solid action. He was the face of Indian Friendship & Strength with superb foreign relations. Pokhran, Kargil

Atal Ji been the Prime Minister Of India thrice (19 March 1998 – 22 May 2004, 16 May 1996 – 1 June 1996 and 1998 –1999) and is the only PM to complete his tenure, who did not belong to the Congress party.
