Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna and their daughter were off to a hike on the morning of Republic Day. Akshay shared a photo of the three of them. Take a look.
Republic Day is celebrated on January 26th each year in India. It is on this day that free India became a republic and the constitution written and drafted by Dr BR Ambedkar along with others came into force. On this day of national importance, all schools, colleges, offices are closed. Thus, it is surely a day which is high on patriotic vibes. On this day, many Bollywood stars hoist flags or engage in other activities with their loved ones. Speaking of this, Akshay Kumar and his wife, Twinkle Khanna went for a hike with their daughter, Nitara.
On the morning of Republic Day, Akshay along with Nitara and Twinkle went for a hike together. Akshay shared a photo on social media and mentioned that this is their way of celebrating the spirit of Republic Day. In the photo, we can see Akshay Kumar, Nitara and Twinkle walking and their back is towards the camera. Akshay also captioned the photo and wrote, “Woke up at the crack of dawn and went hiking with the family, high on the #RepublicDay spirit.” Akki can be seen holding the tricolour in his hand as they all hike away.

Isn’t that a cool way of celebrating the Republic Day? Speaking about his work, Akshay will be seen in a couple of films this year and the first one coming out is Kesari. Starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, Kesari is based on the Battle of Saragarhi. The shooting was wrapped up last year in December and Akshay had shared a still from the film as well. The movie will release on March 21, 2019.
