The actor recently returned from Hyderabad after finishing the first schedule for the film. He is currently on a break from the film's shoot.

Talking about Simmba, Ranveer Singh will play the role of a cop. His character is called Sangram Bhalerao in it. Rohit Shetty has shared a few stills and videos from the sets earlier, thus, creating an excitement about the film.

Simmba is slated to release on December 28, 2018.

Next year, he will be seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy alongside Alia Bhatt. The actors have finished the shoot earlier this year. He will be seen as a rapper in Gully Boy.

The film is scheduled to release on February 14, 2019.

There are reports that Ranveer Singh will tie the knot with his ladylove Deepika Padukone this year in November. The couple has been dating for each other for 5 years now. However, neither Ranveer nor Deepika has confirmed the marriage news yet.
