Ranveer Singh looks handsome as he exits a recording studio, see PICS

Ranveer Singh’s popularity is soaring; his last release, Padmaavat saw him in the role of a villainous character and he totally aced the role. The actor is currently shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy that is based on the lives of rappers Divine and Naezy. He stars with Alia Bhatt in the film.

Ranveer was today clicked in the city as he exited a recording studio with Zoya Akhtar. The actor has injured his shoulder during a football match. He looked handsome in a grey casual T-shirt and shorts. He rounded his look with sunglasses and a cap.

The actor, who had been prepping hard to perform at the IPL opening ceremony, might not be able to do his act due to the shoulder injury. 

Ranveer's spokesperson, in a recent statement, said, "After multiple medical checkups, the doctors have strongly advised Ranveer Singh not to perform at this year’s IPL opening ceremony in which he was doing the grand finale act. They feel his high-energy performance would only overstrain his shoulder and aggravate the injury."

There were reports that Hrithik Roshan has replaced Ranveer for the opening ceremony but nothing was confirmed yet.

However, Ranveer will continue shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. About Gully Boy, Ranveer had said, “This is my first feature film with Alia Bhatt, my second with Zoya Akhtar… two extremely talented people. It’s a space never explored before, a space I relate to. I’ve a special place in my heart for Hip Hop. It’s a story of underdogs - these two kids, who grow up in tough conditions only to find expression in art and music. I believe it could have only been me in this role. Rapping has been a side skill ever since school.”
