Ranveer Singh enjoys a game of football in the city, see PICS

 Ranveer Singh’s popularity is soaring; his last release, Padmaavat saw him in the role of a villainous character and he totally aced the role. The actor is currently shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy that is based on the lives of rappers Divine and Naezy. He stars with Alia Bhatt in the film.

Ranveer was clicked by the shutterbugs today after he played a game of football in the city. He sported a casual look and posed for the photos. Ranveer’s endearing smile and wink stole our hearts away. 

Ranveer is an ardent football fan and is often clicked enjoying a football match with his friends.

About Gully Boy, Ranveer had said, “This is my first feature film with Alia Bhatt, my second with Zoya Akhtar… two extremely talented people. It’s a space never explored before, a space I relate to. I’ve a special place in my heart for Hip Hop. It’s a story of underdogs - these two kids, who grow up in tough conditions only to find expression in art and music. I believe it could have only been me in this role. Rapping has been a side skill ever since school.”

Ranveer will soon start shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Simmba. He will star opposite Sara Ali Khan in the film.  “More than half of 'Gully Boy' shooting is complete. I will complete it in April or May, and I will immediately dive into 'Simmba’.I am really excited about it. I will be working with Rohit Shetty for the first time in a feature film. It is a big one for me,” he had said in a recent interview.
