Ranveer Singh bonded with the Padukones at the launch of a sports academy, check out pic
Ranveer Singh had attended the launch of Padukone-Dravid Center for Excellence in December. He bonded with Deepika's family at the inaugural event in Bengaluru.
In December last year, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had attended the launch of the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence. They had not posed for photos together at the event, but Ranveer had shared a selfie with Prakash Padukone on his social media account.

Badminton champion Prakash Padukone along with Rahul Dravid launched the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence, India’s premier sports facility in Bengaluru. Ranveer had shared a lovely selfie with Deepika Padukone’s father Prakash Padukone and captioned it as, “God of Badminton”.
Ranveer Singh is very close to Deepika’s family and at an awards function last year, even touched Deepika’s parents’ feet before going on stage to collect his award. Deepika too had said in an earlier interview, “I am very, very close to his family. His family is my family in Mumbai.”
The alleged couple took a vacation to Maldives with their respective families and rumor mills went overdrive about their engagement. Deepika and Ranveer are rumored to be tying the knot by the end of this year and reports also came in that Ranveer’s parents had gifted a saree and a diamond set to Deepika on her birthday. Recent reports suggest that Deepika and Ranveer have purchased a home in Goa in a plush neighborhood.
