Ranveer Singh is all smiles for the paparazzi as he steps out in the city

Ranveer Singh is currently recovering from his shoulder injury which he suffered while playing one of his football matches. Today, the actor was spotted outside a clinic where he went for a regular checkup for his shoulder. He was all smiles and posed for the paps a thumbs up.

Ranveer Singh has nearly wrapped up the shoot of Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy which is based on the lives of rappers Divine and Naezy. He stars with Alia Bhatt in the film.

Talking about Gully Boy with a leading daily, Ranveer had said, "It’s very close to my heart. My first film, Band Baaja Baaraat is very special to me. After that, if there’s any film that’s close to my heart, it’s Gully Boy. I want to put these boys (rappers Naezy and Divine) in the spotlight. I want to be a champion for their cause and provide a bigger platform for such amazing talents to shine through. "

He will now shoot for Simmba with Rohit Shetty. The movie also stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead role. Talking about the film, he had said, ''I am very nervous too because it is not easy to perform in mainstream films and it’s not easy to make one either. It could be called my biggest solo outing. It is my first ‘in and as’ film."

Talking about his first ever collaboration with Shetty, he had said, "I have admired Rohit sir’s work for a very long time now. We also have Karan Johar as the producer in this film. It’s a genre or brand of cinema that I thoroughly love. Of course, socially, I interact with people who are the ‘multiplex audience’, but my heart is ‘massy’ and that’s actually what I get a huge kick out of."
