Ranbir Kapoor’s best friend Ayan Mukerji receives Katrina Kaif at a Durga Puja pandal; are they friends again?

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif broke up in early 2016. The ex-couple was in a live-in relationship and it was reported that they make walk down the aisle soon, when the news of their break up came as shock to their fans. The ex-couple did not call it quits cordially and their awkwardness was evident when they promoted their film, Jagga Jasoos together. When Ranbir and Katrina were together, their close friends included director Ayan Mukerji and Aarti Shetty among others.

However, after their break up Katrina Kaif has been spotted with Aarti Shetty at parties, but has never been seen interacting with Ayan Mukerji. There were reports that Ayan Mukerji was not keen on Ranbir and Katrina patching up and did not want them to reconcile. Today, Ayan Mukerji was spotted with Varun Dhawan at a Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai. Katrina Kaif, who shot for an episode of Koffee with Karan earlier in the evening visited a Durga Puja Pandal and performed aarti. Dressed in a pink saree, Katrina looked ethereal and was received by Ayan Mukerji.

They also posed for photos for the media before going in the pandal to perform aarti on Dusshera today. They were also spotted chatting after offering their prayers.
