Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan's VIRAL pictures had tongues wagging everywhere. So much so that Ranbir and his dad Rishi Kapoor came out and spoke about the pictures. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone BROKE THE INTERNET as Padmavati's first look came out.

There have been incessant rumours about Ranbir Kapoor’s personal life. He was rumoured to be dating Pakistani actress Mahira Khan but has always denied it. BUT, We have sourced images of the duo vacationing in New York city while Ranbir was there filming for the Dutt biopic in July THIS YEAR.
These photos have been taken outside Mahira Khan’s hotel in New York City and the alleged couple can be seen smoking. Mahira looks lovely in a white dress, whereas Ranbir can be seen sporting his Dutt look. The alleged lovers seem to be engaged in a conversation as they smoke cigarettes. We are also wondering if those are love-bites on Mahira Khan's back!
Friends of the couple insist that the two don’t want to work with each other on screen but to maintain appearances for all, they keep insisting they are keen. Often this leads to one rejecting the script over the other over ego issues thus leading the hapless producer to tear his heart out in despair. The actor is getting increasingly frustrated as he needs to sign some good films fast or his career, which has been almost non-existent in the last few years, will soon disappear.

In one poster, Deepika is seen donning a red ghagra-choli that has intricate handwork. Deepika looks every bit royal in the second poster.
Mahira was rolled for smoking and wearing a short dress. Reacting to this, Ranbir Kapoor in a statement to a leading daily said, "I've gotten to know Mahira in a personal capacity over the last few months. She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is. It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about. What is also said is the inequality in judgment just because she is a woman. I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful god gifted lives. Peace and Love. Kangana’s film Simran has taken an average opening at the box-office. Today, Shekhar Suman posted a cryptic tweet on his social media account, “Itna hungama ..itna shor sharaba..nateeja? khoda pahad ..nikli chuhiya!”.

Now, in a conversation with a leading daily, Ranbir's father Rishi Kapoor opened up about these viral pictures. He said, “I only saw them on Twitter, not on Instagram or Facebook because I am only on Twitter. It’s not that I saw these pictures before or I know anything about this already. You see, Ranbir is a young star, he is unmarried, he’s a bachelor. He can meet anybody whoever he wants to, and if people are going to invade his privacy, it’s not done. And I can’t say anything about all this because he’s a young man and he has the choice of meeting any girl.”
“How do we know that here’s something more to this picture? He could have met her just outside there. They must have been in a restaurant or a place where they cannot smoke, that’s why they are smoking outside. In the US, they have really strict rules that don’t allow smoking in public places. I can’t say anything more because I don’t know anything more than that,” added Sr. Kapoor.

After wrapping up the shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmavati, Deepika Padukone has been spending time with her family. The actor recently went on a vacation to London with her family and is now in her home-city Bangalore spending quality time with friends and family. Deepika was clicked at a comedy club event with her friends and sister Anisha Padukone in Bangalore. Deepika can be seen having a gala time at the event. She was later photographed at a famous restaurant catching up with friends over dinner.
