Ranbir Kapoor chooses his Brahmastra and is ready to fight in this kickass photo
Ranbir Kapoor is currently in Sofia, Bulgaria where he is shooting for Brahmstra being helmed by Ayan Mukerji. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are prepping hard for Brahmastra and have also started shooting for the film in Sofia, Bulgaria. The fantasy thriller is a trilogy and is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji under Karan Johar's home banner Dharma Productions.
Today, we got our hands on a kickass photo of Ranbir with his trainers posing with different kinds of weapons. In the photo, Ranbir is seen giving an intense look while holding his Brahmastra.

When a leading daily asked Ranbir about Brahmastra, the actor earlier said, "Well, it’s not really a superhero film because the word ‘superhero’ comes with a preconceived notion about it. The film is, as Ayan puts it, ‘a magical romantic fairy tale set in contemporary times.’ It’s got a great cast too with Alia Bhatt and Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) in the film. Other superb actors are also being cast in it. It’s a film that has been written in a trilogy format so there will be three parts, which Ayan will make over a period of eight years. It’s also very exciting, and risky at the same time because it’s something that has never been tried before."
Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role and is slated to release on August 19, 2019. Reports have it, television beauty Mouni Roy, who has bagged a role in the film will be seen in a negative role.
This is the first outing of Ranbir and Alia in a film together.
