Ranbir Kapoor on Brahmastra: Hope the first film does well, it will give us the opportunity to make part 2 & 3
Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra and Luv Ranjan's next. In an interview, the actor opened up about both the films.
Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju, directed by Rajkumar Hirani will be hitting the theatres this week. Once he is done with promotions and interviews, the actor will resume the shoot of Brahmastra.
The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.
The actor is also a part of Luv Ranjan's next along with Ajay Devgn. In an interview with PTI, he opened up about both the films.
Ranbir said, "Luv Ranjan’s film will happen after I finish Brahmastra and Shamshera. It is a dramatic love story. So I am really looking forward to that. It is something which Luv hasn’t done before, something which even Ajay sir and I haven’t done before."
The Rockstar actor was all praises for Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan. "These are the actors who I admire, who I was inspired when I was an aspiring actor and now to share screen space with them and find acceptance… Amit ji gives so much of love and respect as an actor, it is amazing. It is something I aspire to be," said Kapoor.
Talking about Big B more, he said, "Amit ji has been working for 49 years, he is probably the biggest superstar ever born in the world. But till today, the humility, hardwork, passion he shows, it is quite amazing and inspiring for me as a young actor."
Brahmastra, which is being directed by Ayan Mukerji is a trilogy. He revealed that Ayan has spent 6 years on coming up with the idea of the film and cleared that it is not a superhero film.
He adds, "It is a romantic-fairytale in a supernatural format. We hope the first film does well, it will give us the opportunity to make part two and three."
