Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan attend Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal’s engagement bash

Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani got engaged to Anand Piramal over the weekend. Anand formally proposed to Isha at a temple in Mahabaleshwer. The Ambani family hosted an engagement bash for the couple.

Isha looked gorgeous in a white-gold lehenga, whereas Anand opted for a dark colored kurta-pyjama. Close friends of the Ambani family arrived at Antilla to bless the couple. Ranbir Kapoor came with close friend Ayan Mukerji, Shah Rukh Khan arrived with his mother-in-law, Sachin Tendulkar and Aamir Khan also came to congratulate the couple.

Ranbir Kapoor opted for a cool and casual look. He donned a grey tee and blue denim, which he teamed with a grey blazer. Ayan Mukerji opted for a traditional outfit. The friends posed for photos for the media.

Aamir Khan was clicked exiting the bash by the shutterbugs. He sported a light blue colored tshirt with blue denim.

On the professional front, Ranbir’s next film Shamshera with Yash Raj Films was announced today. The Karan Malhotra directorial will see Ranbir portraying the role of a dacoit.

About the film, Ranbir said, “Shamshera is exactly the film I was looking for. While growing up watching Hindi commercial cinema, I had an image of what a film hero should be doing. Shamshera allows me to do everything that I had imagined and it’s a very exciting project for me. Karan is going to take me completely out of my comfort zone and I’m looking forward to this challenge.”

Aamir Khan’s next, Thugs of Hindostan will release in November this year.
