Raksha Bandhan 2018: Alia Bhatt ties a Rakhi to Karan Johar’s son Yash Johar

Bollywood celebrated the bond of siblings on Raksha Bandhan today. Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and other stars celebrated with their siblings on the special day. Stars showered their siblings with gifts and were all decked up to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. Karan Johar celebrated with his cousins and shared photos on his social media pages. Karan’s twins Yash and Roohi Johar look adorable in the photos as they don traditional outfits. Alia Bhatt also visited Karan Johar’s residence to tie rakhi to Yash Johar.
Dressed in a green outfit, Alia looks pretty sans make up as she ties rakhi to Yash Johar. Yash Johar looks in awe; Karan shared this photo on his social media account and captioned it, “Big sister love!!!! @aliaabhattand Yash!!!! #happyrakshabandhan”. Alia Bhatt had said earlier in an interview that she is Yash and Roohi’s Didi. Alia considers Karan her father figure and is very close to him. Karan had said that Alia is like his daughter. When Yash and Roohi were born, Alia had tweeted, “Finally I can say I have a younger brother AND sister!!!!!! So so so happy much love to give uff bursting with joy!!!!!”

Karan Johar had said in an interview that Alia often drops by at his residence to spend time with Yash and Roohi.
On the work front, Alia will star in Karan Johar’s next directorial, Takht. The film will go on floors in September next year and will release in 2020.
