Legendary actor Rajesh Khanna's statue was unveiled in Mumbai today. The statue will be installed at the ‘Walk of the Stars’ at Bandra Bandstand Promenade by UTV Stars. The statue shows the actor carrying two balloons in his right hand which happens to be one of his iconic poses from his film Anand.
Those present at the event were Akshay Kumar, Dimple Kapadia, Twinkle Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Rakesh Roshan, Hema Malini and many others!
On this occasion, his teary eyed daughter Twinkle said, "He is in my heart and he will always live there. It is a sentimental moment for us but as a family we are happy with this initiative.”
Rajesh Khanna passed away last year due to health complications.
