Purab Kohli has finally tied the knot with his British girlfriend, Lucy Paton. The actor was in a relationship with Lucy for three years now and they have a daughter, Inaya who was born in 2015.
Popular VJ and actor Purab Kohli has finally tied the knot with his British girlfriend, Lucy Paton. It was an intimate destination wedding at a plush boutique bungalow in Goa. While Purab looked handsome in a cream sherwani, Lucy opted for a bright red lehenga choli.
Purab’s co-star from the show P.O.W - Bandi Yuddh Ke, Amrita Puri took to her Instagram account to share this great news. She wrote, "My Sartaj Singh is hitched! Congratulations to my reel life husband! Wishing you all the love in the world @purab_kohli & Lucy Kohli #mandown #sartajsingh #pow.’’
The actor was in a relationship with Lucy for three years now and they have a daughter, Inaya who was born in 2015.
When Purab had a daughter with Lucy, during their live-in phase, he had revealed, "Lucy was three months pregnant when we learned about the baby. She didn't want to wear her wedding gown with the baby bump, so we decided to get married later."
He had further said, ‘’My mother was the most concerned and my family did say you guys have to get married quickly when she was pregnant. But I was adamant about not doing it because I never wanted my baby to feel that we got into a relationship because she was coming. Her coming into this world has transformed both our lives for the better. She is our love child and has bloomed even more love between both of us and made me love life more. I don’t want her to ever feel that it was not meant to be. It was meant in every possible way and she was the force of nature and nothing could stop her from coming into this world.”
For Purab, life has changed completely after becoming a father. “Fatherhood changes everything. Fatherhood is a gift I wish upon everybody, especially of a baby girl. When you have a child, you stop living for yourself. Lucy points out that she hasn’t seen any of her friends whose husbands have had such a strong relationship with their baby in the first year. Inaya and I have a strong connection and we have fun together,” the actor had said.
